Usable straight out of the box, and featuring state-of-the-art CENS digital technology, the new Mino CENS offers shooters an affordable way to experience comprehensive CENS digital electronic hearing protection.  Mino CENS are supplied with 5 different sized high quality foam ear tips, providing an effective and comfortable universal fit wearing experience. This can then be enhanced even further by purchasing custom-made ear tips at a later date. 

Mino CENS universal electronic ear plugs are specifically designed to fit into any ear without the need for ear impressions or a custom-made earmould, and like full CENS ProFlex, also still allows for clear communication as well as enhanced ambient awareness. When a gunshot is fired, the electronic circuit instantly suppresses the loud noise, protecting your hearing!  

The DX1 is an electronic custom earplug for shooting containing a single optimised shooting mode level of hearing protection, 25dB SNR.The CENS DX1 is available in the full range of metalik battery lid colours and contains a contains a push button volume control. 

The DX3 is an electronic custom earplug for shooting containing three digitally optimised setting settings plus a mute function to cater for different types of shooting: clay, tactical and game. All three modes offer the same level of hearing protection, 25dB SNR.  The CENS DX3 is available in the full range of metalik colours and contains the digital multi-switch, the same as the DX5. 

Clay mode- This mode is optimised for environments where guns are fired at a faster rate due to nearby shooters.

Tactical Mode- Designed for fast action shooting after a gunshot. Output is reduced after gunshots, before returning to normal so shooters can communicate with their team.

Game mode- This mode is optimised for game shooters. Once a gunshot is fired the module reacts, reducing output levels to keep the user protected from harmful noise. Immediately after the sound level returns to normal allowing the user to hear quarry.

The DX5 is an electronic custom earplug for shooting containing five different modes: game, clay, range, wireless comms, and hunter

The CENS DX5 is available in the full range of metalik colours and contains a digital multi-switch for program and volume changes.

Game Mode- This program is optimised for game shooters. Following a gunshot, the device activates reducing output levels to keep the shooter safe from harmful noise. The sound level then immediately returns to normal, allowing the user to hear approaching quarry. A single microphone wind noise reduction algorithm is initiated in the program. Clay Mode- This program is optimised for the clay shooter where guns are typically fired at a faster rate with other shooters nearby also firing, leaving the user exposed to more prolonged loud levels. A single microphone wind noise reduction algorithm is initiated in the program.

Range Mode- This program is optimised for those users firing on indoor ranges or with large calibre weapons. Ambient awareness is still provided although the reduced output levels may degrade close conversation. Double protection is still advised in this type of environment.

Wireless Comms- This program is optimised for general shooting, providing ambient awareness but with the added feature of wireless audio input via the supplied neck loop.

Hunter Mode- This program is optimised for the hunter/stalker. The amplification of quieter sounds is reduced compared to the previous programs in order that the sound of footsteps on dry forestation and grass are reduced so as not to be annoying to the user. A single microphone wind noise reduction algorithm is initiated in the program.
